Prior to joining Golub Capital, Mr. Stern worked at New York Life Capital Partners where he focused primarily on private equity and debt investments in support of leveraged buyout, growth capital, and special situation transactions.  Mr. Stern was also responsible for private equity fund investing at New York Life.  Prior to joining New York Life, Mr. Stern worked as an investment banker at Bear Stearns where he was a member of the Financial Buyers Group.  Mr. Stern earned a BA in Economics from Georgetown University and an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business.
